Gun Hill Road premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. The film follows the story of Enrique (Esai Morales), an ex-con returning home to the Bronx after three years in prison. He finds his estranged wife, Angela (Judy Reyes), is engaging in an emotional affair, and his teenage child has come out as transgender and is now named Vanessa (Harmony Santana).
