3 Must Try Atta Cake Recipes

1. Banana atta Cake 

You need three large eggs for this banana wheat cake, 3½oz soft light brown sugar, and 5fl oz sunflower. 275g white flour, one tsp ground mixed spice and one tsp baking powder.


– Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan and grease and line a 2lb loaf tin with baking parchment.

– Mash the peeled bananas. Tip into a giant mixing bowl and add eggs, sugar and oil. Combine it well.

– Add flour/atta, spice & baking powder and beat together until combined. Pour into the tin. Bake for forty minutes or till the cake rises.

– ½ teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon baking soda.  

– 1½ cups all-purpose flour (180 grams)

– ¼ cup cocoa powder

Gently mix them, and entrain them together twice. Then add up one cup of sugar and mix well. Pour 1 cup room temperature water and pour 1/3 cup Sunlite sunflower oil. Also, add one tablespoon of vanilla and chocolate extract and a tablespoon of white vinegar. Bake it in preheated oven for thirty-five mins, and your chocolate wheat cake is ready! You can spread some chocolate Rupp on the cake for that extra taste and shine!  

3. Vanilla Atta cake 

For the vanilla cake recipe, you need 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, two eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract, atta 1/2 cups, 1 3/4 tsp baking powder,1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 cup milk.


In a mixer, mix up the butter and sugar well. It should be like a cream. Then add eggs and mix, scraping down the bowl. In the other bowl, blend the atta, baking powder and salt. Also, in one measuring cup, blend the milk and vanilla.

Add 1/3 of the atta mix to the stand mixer and mix the batter. Gradually add nearly 1/2 of the milk mixture when the mixer is on. Blend the batter. Then add nearly 1/3 of the flour mixture accompanied by the remaining milk. Scrape the bowl and add the final batch of flour. Finally, mix till the entire batter is smooth. Finally, pour the batter into the cake pan and smoothly spread it. Bake your cake in a 350 ̊F oven for nearly 45 minutes. Then keep the cake out for some time to cool. And your cake is ready!
